In a nutshell, we believe it is the numerous surprise services that are not offered in ordinary shops. We consider the surprise services offered by our black-suited staff, as well as the attentiveness and service spirit of our CAST, to be the essence of luxury. In other words, we believe it’s the number of things that make our customers say, “What?! They do this?”
At high-end hotels, a welcome champagne is often provided, and there’s a big difference between drinking a beer at a regular izakaya and drinking one at a sky lounge, regardless of price. The view and presentation are completely different. This is what we consider to be the meaning of luxury. We think that the building being beautiful and luxurious is a given, and that the difference lies in the small details of attentiveness.
In ordinary shops, because the prices are cheap, they use the strategy of doing more business with less profit, rather than pursuing customer satisfaction by providing personalized service. I think most of the staff work on a flow-based, manual-based system. However, at ANNEX, we limit the number of customers served by each CAST, and adhere to the corporate philosophy of providing attentive service suitable for a high-end shop. We also provide rigorous training for everyone involved.
